About us

Tradeport was founded in 1991 by Kemal Aktepe. He grew up in the Netherlands in a vibrant multicultural environment. Right after his engineering education he started his own business specialized in advising and supporting entrepreneurs with their international activities. He is a qualified mediator, a bridge builder and networker. His style is friendly, tactful and tenacious.
Kemal also holds an excellent track record in karate: Multiple Dutch Champion, European and vice-world champion, captain of the Dutch team and he was elected as the sportsman of the year in 1988 (ABN AMRO / Wegener daily). As a former athlete Kemal is success-driven without losing pleasure in doing business.
